Introduction:

I'm not a professional photographer. I simply find deviantART a pretty damn good place to store and show all the stuff that I make. That's why I started my traditional art gallery some time ago. But since I didn't want to make too much of a mess, and the people watching me there were watching me because of my traditional paintings and drawings, I started two other galleries - with photos only. The one you're looking at right now was the last one. The other one is dedicated to my other love - cats, cats and cats only. Tones of cats, if you're interested.

Locations:

I don't travel much. Don't expect some exotic photos from faraway countries or tropical islands. All the photos in this gallery were (and probably will be) taken in Poland. Many people find Poland interesting. Many Polish people find it ugly and boring. I find it beautiful. We have beautiful winters here, a small stripe of sea, mountains, valleys. Poland can be green. Poland can be colorful. You just have to see it. You don't have to love it. But that's just how it is.

2011 update: Actually no. It turns out that 5 years can change many things in one's life. Thankfully.

Equipment:

Most of the photos here were taken with good old HP Photosmart R707. It was crappy, I admit. But it was my very first digital camera, my love. I took almost 10000 photos with it and it served me well. HP is dead now. Canon EOS 400D is my latest victim. Got it last christmas as a present. I'm using Tamron 17-50 mm f/2.8 Di lens (+Hoya UV Super Pro1) with it now, as a replacement for this tiny box lens, and lately Tamron 90 mm f/2.8 Di for macro photography. I'm also using compact camera, Canon DIGITAL IXUS 75, which is small and handy and I can carry it everywhere around in my purse.

2011 update: IXUS 75 was replaced by IXUS 300HS, still it's just not the same as HP Photosmart. Compact cameras are a matter of last resort now. Using DSLR for better photos. Bought Samyang manual 8mm fisheye last year. Very nice toy indeed.

Conclusion:

Nothing more has changed. I'm still a very busy person and I don't have time to even run my traditional account properly. So please, don't get mad if I don't reply to comments or thank you for favs. I realy, really do appreciate all your support. And I'm happy if anyone likes my photos.
